Philip Shuker

Managing Director

Phil is the owner & Managing Director of Projex, with over 25 years’ leadership, working with high profile clients globally and the UAE.

Phil has been the driving force behind the company’s growth since 2007, through his investment and his vision to evolve the business and transform it into a creatively driven market leader.

Today he is as committed as ever to making Projex a key player in the design & build business here in the UAE and the GCC region.

Martin Clough

Commercial Director

Martin is an experienced  Commercial Director with over 25 years in a fast-paced business environment handling complex tenders and negotiating with clients.

With a thorough knowledge of the commercial process and client development. Martin joined Projex in 2010 initially develop the sales strategy and subsequently managed the operational process.

Martin oversees the day to day running of the commercial department which encompasses sales, customer service, account and project management and the day to day operations delivering on the success of the design team.

He has held other senior positions in the United Kingdom and Europe.

His key clients include the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in addition, he has been central to a number of key projects around the local and regional cultural and heritage programmes.

Nick Foote

Creative Director

Nick is an experienced creative who is passionate and hands-on, with extensive experience in all aspects of branded environments, live events, experiential design and design management.

Nick has strong conceptual abilities and communication skills, which have helped him win projects throughout his career, with clients such as Department of Culture and Tourism, Mubadala, MCC Lords, Audi, The National History Museum, English Heritage and the UN. Nick has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the design process and is engaged in the creative delivery from concept through to the final finished product.

Rob Jefferson

Key Account Director

As one of Projex’s Senior Account Directors,  Rob develops and manages key accounts. His astute commercial, strategic and implementation perspective helps us deliver local and international events, exhibitions and environments.

Rob’s first experience in the industry was over 25 years ago in the UK, where he secured clients such as Microsoft, HSBC, and British Airways before relocating to the UAE in 2007. He now manages a broad portfolio of local and international brands, as well as government bodies.

Rob also heads up our show management business, managing global Event Organisers and trade shows throughout the year.

Robs clients include Emirates, Publicis, Mubadala, Prime Minister’s office and Executive Office of Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and Dubai Future Foundation.

 

 

Paul Hawkins

Finance Director

Paul graduated from John Moores University with a BA honors degree in Accountancy and Finance in 2003. Paul then became an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management of Accountants (CIMA) in 2010 after completing his qualification in 2009.

Paul has over 15 years of industry experience and was appointed as Financial Controller of Projex in March 2012 to radically transform the Finance Function, taking up the role of Finance Director in the summer of 2018. Highly motivated and ambitious he is committed to the strategic, financial management and growth of the company. He is at the forefront of system development and, through business partnering, has had an integral role in the company’s success over the last 7 years.

Creative Studio

We are conceptualisers, visualisers, graphic designers, CAD designers and detailers.

Our dedicated and committed teamwork in our creative studio in the heart of Dubai’s D3 Design District.

Projex has a rich history of technical and creative professionalism and quality. We are deeply integrated with the industry at large, and with the cultural and economic fabric of Dubai. We understand the industry well and are a key player in this market place – one that has been so key to Dubai’s growth as a cultural hub and international destination.

Workshop

Projex has 100,000 square feet of facilities, including offices, storage, graphics, production and fabrication.

That means that we control the process all the way from the initial concept to completion. Our clients value our creative thinking, experienced people and quality products.
