Following a three way pitch, Projex was commissioned to design, build and install the RTA stand at GITEX Technology week.
Dubai is one of the fastest growing cities in today’s world. RTA are responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads and traffic in the Emirate of Dubai and between Dubai and other neighbouring Emirates and countries in order to provide an effective transport system reflective of Dubai’s vision.
The Gulf Information Technology Exhibition is one of the largest electronics show in Dubai, taking place every year at the Dubai World Trade Centre with more than 100 federal and regional government entities showcasing their latest technological developments.
The focus, for the RTA stand, was to provide a modern, yet informative stand to facilitate the promotion and awareness of RTA’s future infrastructure and to unveil their latest technological developments.

Set over two floors the 120 sqm stand was designed predominately to accommodate a series of innovative products to be launched to the general public. This was largely achieved through the use of a variety of AV and interactive equipment strategically placed throughout the stand supported by large LCD screens recessed into a large hanging canopy.
Whilst the AV and technical interactivity on the stand gave a futuristic and forward thinking feel, the use of dark laminate wood, elegant lighting and specific floral offered a perfect contrast to create an equally hospitable and elegant environment.
