Qasr Al Hosn Exhibition
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the festival is organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority. (ADTCA).
The Qasr al Hosn festival is an annual celebration of authentic Emirati culture and tradition to celebrate the iconic birthplace of Abu Dhabi.
Qasr Al Hosn was the first solid structure built in Abu Dhabi and was home to the Royal Family. The festival gives the UAE community as well as visitors the opportunity to experience the Emirate heritage through a variety of fun and educational activities and workshops.
Projex were commissioned by People Creative (a UAE based events company) to build and install the QAH exhibition which was unveiled at the Qasr al Hosn Festival 2016. Projex took the design of People Creative and fabricated and installed the exhibition over a two week period…

The purpose of the exhibition, which runs for a year, was too take the visitor on a journey through the history and rulers of Abu Dhabi with the Qasr Al Hosn Fort being at the centre of the narrative.
The exhibition was separated into 6 areas, with each area representing a certain time and significant date in the history of Abu Dhabi.
The 900sqm exhibition was predominantly realized through the use of showcases with coral kickers showcasing artifacts and historical articles along with printed fabric showing the beautiful Abu Dhabi landscape. A variety of materials were used throughout including metal, concrete and even camel leather.
In addition to the build Projex were responsible for production and installation of all the graphics throughout.
