This is the 15th edition of Cityscape Global, the regions largest real estate event which attracts in excess of 43,000 visitors from over 100 countries. The event is held at the DWTC and spread over 40,000SQM exhibiting new developments across the UAE and beyond.
Meydan is the visionary concept of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The project is the culmination of his vision to create not just a venue for horse racing but an integrated city that is sustainable, environmentally responsible.
Meydan Group aims to link the world with the Emirate of Dubai through international horse racing and equestrian events together with commercial developments, hospitality, sports, entertainment and amusement services, business parks, schools, communities and luxury shopping destinations.

Meydan viewed Cityscape Global as an ideal opportunity to reveal their exciting luxury retail mall that will be the centre of the Meydan shopping development.
The single story build was over 790 SQM and was over 4 metres high which gave the audience a taste of how the Meydan One Mall would look featuring architectural elements from the Mall itself. There were two 25 metre light boxes providing strong brand messaging. In addition several individual rooms depicting retail environments and a modern café with a view over the fountains
The most prominent feature was the retractable roof that was supported through a sound and light show. This will be the first mall in the world that would have a fully retractable roof and provide open air luxurious shopping in the convenience of a shopping mall.

Other elements of the stand were retail booths that were supported with interactive elements such as the fashion 3D virtual retail. An interactive piece which allowed the visitor to try on 100’s of fashion items which were superimposed on a screen on their body.
The timeline room was a room of interconnected screens and motion sensors. The visitor walked through observing key dates both from the past and future related to the development of the Mall.
The Meydan Social Universe which was a interactive screen displaying the latest social media news from Twitter and Instagram about Meydan One Mall and their development.
