The Culture Summit

The Culture Summit 2017 is a high level international summit that brings together leaders from the worlds of government, the arts and the media to address the role culture plays in addressing challenges of our time. The event was hosted by ADTCA in conjunction with Foreign Policy Group and was the first time in the Middle East region.

FP appointed Projex to design, build and deliver the entire event utilizing the venue at the Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi.

Modern

The main focal point was a purpose built plenary room with a stage in the round that was located in gallery 3. An area of approximately 800m2 was draped out and tiered seating for a capacity of over 300 guests surrounded the central stage area. Artistic images and 6 projector screens provided a 360 degrees approach to the event with full technical support and surround sound and lighting for the performances and TED talks throughout the 4 day event.
Surrounding the main plenary room and in the adjacent gallery were 9 break out seminar rooms each designed and constructed with a modern approach and an individual textured finish to each room including custom furniture.

In addition to these areas a purpose built dining area was constructed to provide a sit down lunch and dinner for over 300 guests. a centre stage provided the daily entertainment and talks throughout each day.
A VIP Majlis was delivered to provide a private ambience and entrance for VIP guests.
