ADTCA appointed Projex to build two separate exhibition areas. The first area in gallery 1 of the Manarat Al Saadiyat was the main exhibition that consisted of a total of 1400m2 and incorporated all but one of the artists in 7 distinct rooms. Each room had its own unique feel with enclosed ceilings, detailed showcases and pieces of custom-built furniture. The central feature showcased a large art piece by renowned artist Anish Kapoor. Within this room were custom built seating recessed into the wall that allowed the visitor to sit and relax whilst studying the art.
The second exhibition was a dedicated area for the artist Anri Sala titled Ravel Ravel and Unravel. This area that was approximately 700m2 was totally sound proofed using specialist acoustic material that supported the designers theme that was around sound and vision. The acoustic walls were 6 metres high and enclosed ceilings.
Projex are delighted to be part of this awesome and creative exhibit.
