ADIPEC is the region’s leading oil and gas exhibition and has been operating since 1984. Today the exhibition conducts over $10 billion of business and over 110,000 trade visitors attend the show.

As part of a global arrangement Mubadala Investment Corporation decided to exhibit as a group of companies under one umbrella company at the 2017 ADIPEC show. The stand itself was 960 sqm in total comprising of a double deck structure within the Atrium of ADNEC.

In additional to the investment company, their subsidiary companies all participated for the first time on one stand. These included Mubadala Petroleum, Dolphin Energy, Cepsa, Yahsat, TS & S, Abu Dhabi Shipbuilders, OMV, Borealis and Nova.

The stand was open and inviting with a large semi-circle reception counter at the front of the stand which had touchscreens to assist and navigate the visitor around the stand.
The mezzanine floor housed the VIP Majlis areas, meeting rooms and VIP hospitality suite.
Various touch screens and models supporting each company were available for the visitor to use and view.

As part of the technology on the stand. There were 6 interactive columns each over 3 metres in height providing not only a themed colour which could be synchronized but also touch enabled too. The interactive element allowed the visitor to retrieve information about each of the companies on the stand. In particular top level facts and figures as well as moving imagery and branding.
These columns were a first in the region and the industry to be used by a exhibiting company.
