Following a three-way pitch Projex were delighted to be commissioned to design and build the Mubadala exhibition stand and chalet at the Dubai Air Show. The 500 sqm stand was one of the largest stands at the show and incorporated not only the Mubadala Investment Company but also its assets including Yahsat, Cognit, TS&S, Masdar and Strata Manufacturing.
A large full sized aircraft engine made out of Lego bricks was part of the interactive elements along with various touch screens and models for the individual assets.
The brief also included a 400 sqm outside chalet for the purpose of hospitality. The chalet was built to cater for over 200 guests and also included a VIP Majlis and a meeting room as well as a viewing terrace on the first floor.
The chalet had a perfect viewing angle for all the guests to see all the flying activity throughout the show.
